This tartan shower curtain features a bright red tartan: a scarlet ground crossed by cool blue and green bands, each edged with slim black, gold and white lines. Its size is 71 x 74 in, in polyester.
The pattern mimics a woven cloth, with a speckled, thready texture in every band, so the curtain has the look of a traditional holiday tartan without being dark or old-fashioned. The props in the photos only dress the scene and are not part of your order.
🎄 The classic holiday tartan
Scarlet with blue and green bands is the tartan most people picture at Christmas, bright and instantly festive.
A bright tartan shower curtain, line by line
Large open squares of red let the room breathe. Where the bands cross, the detail gathers: blue and green stripes, black outlines, one gold pinstripe plus a white thread. From the doorway it looks like a cheerful red plaid; from the tub you see the fine lines.
Styling ideas
Keep the rest of the room simple so the tartan stays the star: white towels, a clear glass soap pump and maybe a small potted fir on the counter. Deep navy towels also work, picking up the blue in the bands. If you have a patterned floor, let the curtain lead and keep the mat plain or choose our matching one.
Bright red tartan to match
Add the bright red tartan bath mat for the floor and the bright red tartan wrapping paper for gifts. The tartan is also printed on a decorative pillow and a skirt for the tree. More checks are in our plaid and tartan Christmas collection, next to the other Christmas shower curtains.
A generous gift for the holiday host
If someone is hosting your family this year, a shower curtain is a thank-you present they will actually use while everyone is staying over. This bright red tartan is a safe choice for most homes because red with blue and green accents works beside white, gray or wood finishes. Fold it with a set of white towels, tie it with a ribbon in the same red, and the gift looks finished before you even wrap it. For a larger present, add the matching bath mat. Since there are no names or characters on it, it suits a host of any age and style.
How long it takes
Printing runs 2–5 business days once you order, longer in the run-up to Christmas, and then the curtain ships. Check Fulfillment + Shipping for your country.
