This plaid bath mat brings a cream Christmas plaid to the bathroom floor: a pale ivory ground crossed by wide forest green bands and doubled cranberry red lines. It comes in two sizes, each with a cushioned top and a white bound edge.
Because the background is light, this is the gentlest check in our holiday bath range, a good choice for a small or windowless room that a dark plaid would close in. The towels, tree and gifts around it in the photos are props and are not part of the order.
🌲 Festive, but light on its feet
Cream between the stripes keeps the floor looking bright, so the season shows up without the room feeling heavy.
A cream plaid that pairs with white tile
White and pale gray bathrooms can make deep reds look harsh. Here the red only runs in thin double lines, and the green blocks sit on a soft ivory, so the mat blends into light tile, oak vanities and brushed nickel taps. Hang a plain green hand towel nearby and the colors tie together.
Picking a spot for a plaid bath mat
The larger mat fills the space alongside a full-length tub or in front of a wide shower. The smaller one fits in front of a pedestal sink, a toilet in a narrow room or a compact guest bathroom. If the mat will be seen straight from the doorway, the bigger size shows off more of the check.
Matching cream plaid pieces
The cream plaid shower curtain carries the same check, and the pattern started life as our cream Christmas plaid wrapping paper, so presents under the tree can match the bathroom. In the living room the same check appears on a throw pillow and under the tree as a tree skirt. See the full plaid and tartan Christmas range or more Christmas bath mats.
A thoughtful hostess gift
Looking for something to bring when you stay with family over the holidays? A bath mat is practical, easy to pack flat and less predictable than another candle. This cream version is the safest pick when you do not know the color of someone’s bathroom, because ivory and soft green go with almost any tile. Wrap it in the matching paper and the gift looks planned from the outside in.
From printing to delivery
Production needs 2–5 business days, and more around mid-December, after which the mat leaves with a carrier. Transit times by country are listed on Fulfillment + Shipping.
