This holiday bath mat is printed with a green check and red windowpane pattern: a two-tone gingham of pine and sage green on cream, framed by thin scarlet lines that box in every few squares. It is offered in a small and a large size, both with an anti-slip backing.
The gingham gives it a farmhouse kitchen feel, and the red frame turns it into something you would only bring out in December. The curtain, gifts and greenery in the pictures only set the scene; you receive the mat alone.
🎁 Gingham with a red border
The red windowpane makes a simple green check look gift-wrapped, which is why it works so well for the season.
A green holiday bath mat for a farmhouse bathroom
Green checks sit naturally beside wood shelves, wicker baskets and matte black taps. If your bathroom already leans rustic, a mat like this adds the holiday through color instead of motifs, with no reindeer or lettering to clash with the rest of the room or your everyday towels.
Sizing tips
Measure the free floor in front of the tub or shower before you order, and leave room for the door to open. The larger size suits most standard tubs; the smaller version is better in front of a vanity or in a narrow bathroom where a larger rug would curl against a cabinet.
The rest of the green check set
This pattern is also a green check shower curtain for the same bathroom, and a green check Christmas wrapping paper for gifts. You can also add a green check pillow to an armchair or wrap the tree base in the green check tree skirt. Browse further checks in the plaid and tartan collection or see our other Christmas bath mats.
Mixing checks around the house
Gingham plays well with other plaids as long as one color repeats. Here that color is green, so the mat sits happily near a red tartan in the hallway or a buffalo check throw in the living room. Keep the scale different: this small gingham next to a larger plaid looks deliberate, while two checks of the same size can fight. In the bathroom itself, a striped green towel or a solid cream bath sheet completes the look. It is an easy way to carry one holiday palette from the front door to the upstairs bath without buying a full matching set.
