This tartan Christmas bath mat is a cushioned memory foam mat for the bathroom floor, printed in a burgundy and spruce-green plaid with narrow ivory and blush pinlines. Two sizes cover anything from a small powder room to a family bathroom.
The check matches the curtain above it, so the two read as one family. The curtain, tree and presents in the photos are there for styling only.
Every mat goes to print only after your order comes in.
🎄 Color where your feet land first
A white bathroom floor is a blank canvas, and a red and green check on it adds the season without one extra ornament on the counter.
A Christmas bathroom rug that matches the curtain
If you want a holiday bath rug that does not look like an afterthought, it pays to start with the curtain and match the floor to it. Our tartan shower curtain uses the identical plaid, so the two read as a planned pair rather than two random festive pieces. Add red hand towels or a green soap pump and the whole room is done.
Where a Christmas bath mat works best
Beside the tub or the shower is the obvious spot, but a mat this soft also suits the space beside a double vanity or the floor of a small guest bathroom. Choose the smaller one where floor space is tight and the larger one where it will be seen from the doorway, so the tartan greets visitors first. A soft mat by the tub is also kind to bare feet on cold winter mornings, when a tiled floor feels its chilliest.
Red and green plaid without the novelty
The design is a plain festive check: wine blocks, deep evergreen blocks, paired pale pinlines and a faint printed twill. There are no reindeer, no lettering and no logos, so it suits a farmhouse bathroom as easily as a modern white one, and it can stay down well past New Year.
The same plaid is also sold as a table runner, a square tablecloth, a throw blanket, a throw pillow, a Christmas tree skirt and gift wrap. Find them together in the plaid tartan Christmas collection, or browse more Christmas bath mats.
